The Museum Event Center @ Meta

The Museum was built in 2018 at Meta’s new headquarters as an answer to a growing internal demand for a large scale production space. Global events and summits that were previous hosted at venues like the San Jose Convention Center and the Moscone Center in SF could now be held onsite with no need for venue or gear rental. This opened the door to a massive influx of some of the largest events ever done internally at a Meta campus, all done using the in house equipment and technical staff. The space itself is a technical marvel with top of the line technology in all departments, with no expense being spared to produce the best events entirely in house, including a Meyer Lina audio system with an SSL System T network of consoles, an Ross Carbonite switching system for full broadcast production and in-room playback paired with a Christie Spyder X80 for screen canvassing, along with a suite of CPUs for content processing, three 4k LED walls and four 1080p LED walls all connected to the switching system, ETC’s Eos system with an Eos Apex 20 to operate an extremely flexible lighting system consisting of several hundred intelligent fixtures, and finally a TAIT Navigator automation system to fly all the in-air equipment. The entire room is divisible into quadrants in any combination, and all equipment can partition off to the different sections based on room configuration.
